Imperial College London’s South Kensington Campus is the perfect venue to host SludgeTech 2017. This world-renowned institution is recognised as one of the leading centres of research in Civil and Environmental Engineering and for application of this research in industry and enterprise.
The campus is located in the heart of Kensington and Chelsea and within brief walking distance of The Royal Albert Hall, and the world famous Science, Natural History and Victoria and Albert Museums.
The Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 was established in 1850 by Her Majesty Queen Victoria to organise the first world trade fair: The Exhibition of the Works of Industry of All Nations. The profits from this fair purchased the land where Imperial College now stands.
The Royal Commission continues to support research and innovation to this day and the first conference, SludgeTech 2015 was seed funded by the Royal Commission as part of an industrial fellowship.
The conference will take place in the Sherfield Building on the Imperial College South Kensington Campus. For more information about getting to the venue please click here.
